About the conference
This conference will be held in honor of opening of the China Center, Jungseok Research Institute of International Logistics and Trade (JRI) and also in memory of Prof. Emeritus Richard Goss.
The conference will be devoted to discussing theoretical and applied research work on current issues of Made in China 2025, One Belt One Road policy Initiated by the Chinese government and its implication on the East Asian economies and Int’l logistics.
On these topics, the aim will be to raise debates at two complementary levels: Made in China 2025 and One Belt One Road Initiative Policy will have significant influences on the regional economies and logistics. A specific attention will be given to the consequences of the regional economic development, logistics issues, and human capacity building for this area.
Contributions to the understanding of China’s policy initiatives and the management of global logistics industry will be very welcomed. Empirical evidence should be drawn preferably from East Asian or Global experiences. Case studies bringing comparative material between these two areas will be appreciated.
