IAME 2022 Elections

IAME 2022 Election –

 

July 15th 2022

Dear IAME Members,

Following our previous communication, we hereby officially open the voting process for the IAME 2022 Elections.

 

As approved by the 2022 Nomination Committee regarding the candidacy process, there are a total of four (4) candidates for IAME President and sixteen (16) candidates for the Council Members. They are listed below in alphabetical order.

 

2022 IAME Candidates 

Presidency (4 Candidates):

  4. Gordon Wilmsmeier (Germany/Colombia)

Council (16 nominations):

  2. Peggy Chen (Australia)
  3. Elvira Haezendonck (Belgium).
  4. Cassia Borneo-Galvao (USA)
  5. Manolis Kavussanos (Greece)
  6. Joanna Kizielewicz (Poland)

Once you have made your choices for council members, you will receive an email from Qualtrics with an electronic voting ballot and complete your vote.

 

Important details:

  • This e-voting process will be open on July 18, 2022 (4pm Central European time).
  • Only IAME members who have paid their membership fees for 2022 are allowed to vote. If you have not paid your IAME membership fee and want to vote, please do so and the Secretariat will process your payment providing you access to the members only section.

In line with the IAME Constitution:

·        For the Presidential elections, you have the choice to 

          vote for ONE (1) candidate or  Abstain.

·        For the Council Members elections, you can cast 

          a MAXIMUM of TEN (10) votes.”

 

The Council has approved the following timetable:

 

Elections for President

JULY 18 to SEPTEMBER 2: Online voting – 1st Round (access to the online voting system will be granted to paid members from Qualtrics with an electronic voting ballot to complete your vote. – Check your emails.

 

SEPTEMBER 5 to SEPTEMBER 9Online voting – 2nd Round for selecting between the candidates that have received more votes during the first round (access to the online voting system will be granted after member login on the IAME website);

SEPTEMBER 14 & SEPTEMBER 15 (15:00, Busan, Korea time): opportunity for IAME members who have not voted yet and attend the IAME 2022 Conference to vote using ballots;

SEPTEMBER 15 in the late afternoon/evening: Announcement of the election results during the IAME 2022 Conference.

Council Elections

JULY 18 to SEPTEMBER 9: Online voting (access to the online voting system will be granted after member login on the IAME website);

SEPTEMBER 14 & SEPTEMBER 15 (15:00,) Busan, Korea time): 

opportunity for, IAME members who have not voted yet and attend the IAME 2022 Conference to vote using ballots;

SEPTEMBER 15 in the late afternoon/evening: Announcement of the election results during the IAME 2022 Conference.
