Universidad de los Andes: Job openings in Supply Chain Management

The School of Management at Universidad de los Andes (Bogotá, Colombia) seeks applications to fill two full time positions at the Assistant Professor level in the field of Supply Chain Management and related topics. The School provides conference and research funding, a possible teaching load reduction, a vibrant cultural environment, and a variety of other benefits that make these highly sought after appointments.

Candidates must have earned a PhD degree (or be near completion) in the field stated above. They are expected to show a clear commitment to research and actively contribute to the design, delivery and assessment of courses at the undergraduate and graduate level.

Preference will be given to candidates with a record of publications in high-quality peer-reviewed journals and the desire to shape the development of a successful and fast-growing School of Management.

Interested candidates should submit the following documents:

1) A motivation letter.

2) A curriculum vitae, including contact information for three academic references. Referees will not be contacted until the final candidates have been shortlisted.

3) A teaching statement, including course evaluations (if available).

4) A research statement.

5) Copies of two recent papers.

Applications shall be submitted until November 30, 2017. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a campus visit in Bogotá. Appointments begin in April, 2018 and July, 2018. Remuneration is competitive by European standards.
